Grayson has been handling our financial services for a year now and we could not be happier. They recommend a less expensive insurance provider and reserve study company, saving us money right from the start. They are quick to respond to emails and voice messages and pleasant to work with. They really go beyond what they are contracted to do. I highly recommend them.

I have had several HOA managements over the past years but none ever have the high standard of service like Grayson. Grayson is the new management team for a community where we were and they really go above and beyond to help home owners. I have been working with our previous HOA management to resolve an issue but they keep on dropping the ball and ignoring home owner’s request. That is until Grayson came in and followed through by resolving the issue left behind by the previous HOA management. Grayson worked diligently with me and the previous HOA to successfully remediate the problem that’s been going on for months. I am very pleased with Grayson’s outstanding service and they are a true reflection of what quality and service and not how most people portrays the perception of HOA.
I work with Trip Stop Sidewalk Repair and we are a vendor of Grayson Community Management. We have been working with Grayson for several years and I’ve had the pleasure of personally working with them for about a year. Matthew, Graham, Amy, and the team are really great to work with. They are consistently reaching out to us about providing property inspections for their various properties, making sure the sidewalks and walkways are safe and up to ADA standards.
Although I do not live at one of their properties, I would gladly jump at the opportunity. Grayson has a great relationship with its residents and vendors, and goes the extra mile to make sure their properties are safe and in good shape.
I have meant to write this review a while back for the Grayson Management team in San Jose but got a little busy.
I had a few issues with my condo at the Brickyard, for example lights out in the back of the complex and a couple of water leaks that Grayson was quick to react and took care of in a very professional manner and always checking in with me. They are a very responsive support team who gives one on one assistance. My emails are always responded to within an hour.
And Jose keeps the condo complex clean, see the pool and gym area pics.

I refinanced my property recently. I had to reach out to HOA to get info on rental/owner occupancy info. I got prompt professional response and my issue was resolved in time.
The only reviews worth noting on here are those from a board member (which I am not, so maybe you should not care about my review either Ha ha)
One complaint I see is because they had to wait a few “hours” for someone to show up for their problem. I don’t think people realize that these aren’t Apartments, these are HOA’s and all management companies are off site.
Another complaint here is from a RENTER., which everyone who knows how HOAs are run , that the renter of a unit has NO rights or even has a vote and the issues should be brought to your landlord and NOT to the management company…. Now them sending the wrong bill to the wrong unit does make the company look inept but do you really think a bill is going to get paid by a homeowner that did NOT have the work done? Of course not, as I’m sure the bill will get sent to the right place
People these days amaze me. I’ve been to some of our board meetings, these board members have a thankless job and all homeowners do is bitch and complain and if that doesn’t work, then just blame the property management company too.
I wish those who complained on here or gave one star would sign up to be a board member at their own HOA…. Then they can see how hard it is to run a place with 50 units and 50 homeowners and 50 different opinions on how dues should be spent. It’s insane…. I bet 90% of the people that post here don’t even go to their own board meetings.
It’s ridiculous…. Just GO to a board meeting and voice your complaint there to the Board and the Management company, but oh no, it’s just too easy to complain here and hide and be a sneaky little weasel who doesn’t want to contribute to your own community property which is what HOAs are all about.
I currently live on one of Grayson’s properties (been a resident since 2012) and every experience with them has been a good one. Recently, I got a notice because my truck had been parked for over a year in the community because it was not working. I contacted their offices requesting for additional time so I could sort out a few things and they have been extremely flexible and understanding. Matthew in particular has been a great help. I couldn’t be more grateful for all his help as well as the management.
Update: I finally was able to sell the truck and the management team were super patient. Thanks for your help!

I do not know where our HOA would be without Grayson!! We brought them on at a very difficult time when a newly elected Board had to tease out a variety of complex issues. We could not have gotten things back on track without them!
For example, this year alone, James Merced and Jocell Prieto have helped us with: insurance renewals and assessments, special assessments, updating HOA documentation, facilitating meetings, managing aggressive owners, security issues, fire watch, handling new election laws and protocols, legal issues, and getting top-notch vendors out quickly to fix a variety of projects (big and small) at fair prices. They have done this over weekends, evenings and regular business hours during COVID-19, fires, and other 2020 challenges. Yes, they are that good.
Not only do they get ALL the job(s) done, but it feels like they REALLY care about us!! THANK YOU James and Jocell for going above and beyond for our community!! We are so grateful for all that you do!! Thank you to the entire accounting team as well, and to other folks like Tony and DJ who helped us a few years ago.
I HIGHLY recommend Grayson without any hesitation!!
We were tenants in one of the commercial properties managed by Grayson Community Management for nearly 5 years. Our office had to move to a new location and, unfortunately, the new location is not managed by Grayson. It was great to have Grayson’s support while we were in their building. Graham and his team was easy to reach, very supportive, professional and proactive. We enjoyed working with them and I would highly recommend to hire Gryayson Community Management!

My favorite person related to management and upkeep is Marshall Bates. He might be securitas though. Always responding quickly and willing to listen to a situation before coming up with a good solution (too many people tend to not listen, and hence come up with ineffective solutions).
Had the pleasure of meeting Francisco Martinez today. He says he is the manager of Eagle Ridge. (I read the previous Eagle Ridge reviews).

Our condo association has been through several management companies since we have lived here. Grayson Community Management has helped us finally get our business under control and on the right track. We spent a lot of time walking around blind, not understanding our financial responsibilities. Grayson’s patients and personal interest has put us on the right path. Grayson is a fantastic community management company that has responded promptly to my questions and requests for service, living here in the Westside Manor condominiums in San Jose. I have emailed more than a dozen times for various questions ranging from approval to install a security camera, help with internet installation, and fixing my backyard fence. Their help desk employees Ely Vista and Nohemi Devora have replied every single time in less than 20 minutes. That is an amazing response time! If you are dissatisfied with your current management’s response time to emails and calls, and like the idea of your management community responding in minutes instead of days, I would highly recommend considering Grayson to be your community management.
Their community manager Daniel Rivera has overseen our HOA meetings and answered individual homeowner concerns. Daniel has been responsive, courteous, and most importantly in the role of a community manager — fair and thoughtful. When living in a community of condominiums like we do in Westside Manor, it is inevitable that different homeowners will want conflicting outcomes. A good community manager has to possess the thoughtfulness to choose the most fair and beneficial outcome, and Daniel has consistently done so at our HOA meetings and dealing with the various homeowners.
I am extremely happy that Grayson is managing our community, and grateful that we now have at our disposal the responsiveness and effort shown by this team.

City Management has serviced many of Grayson’s client the last 2 years. We provide janitorial and maintenance services in the East Bay and The Peninsula.
